At this time of the year, its nice to see carrots coming up the ground. I only sowed few rows as a experiment but besides poor soil preparation they did acceptable well. Cheers

chilli seed germinated in couple of days

I put some chilli seeds in the compost from the dried thai chilli which are sold in supermarket and they germinated in a couple of days. I then replanted each seedling into its individual pot. As there were 15 seedlings I got the idea to use emptied milk carton as a pot too. I just cut away the top of the carton and made a small hole at its bottom.. I hope that the plants will survive the winter indoors.
